      Anyone out there doing wireless video capture? If so what hardware are you using? I am planning on doing multiple camera video capture for a show next spring. max distance from stage to Mac Pro will be less than 50 feet.

            Will be using a mixture possibly. but for sure will be using a panasonic HD (1080) camera plugged into some sort of wireless video transmitter or something along those lines.

                @Aolis, I tried the free version of EpocCam and it works! very simple set up and syphon picks it right up. So good suggestion!

                  If you want to use real camers check out these options:

                  Terradeck bolt (there is a kind of light version but this is SDI)
                  and a bit cheaper with great reviews:
                  Nyrius ARIES (HDMI only)
                  For Iphones I really found that an apple TV per iphone captured via HDMI was a great and solid solution.

                        Hi, I'm touring with three Teradek Bolt HDMI (1080p) transmitters since one year, works very well.

                        Never had any issue.
