      What is the functional difference between distorting and mapping a video projection using Stage Live Edit vs Izzy Map? Any advantage or disadvantage between these two methods?

      thanks

        @dritter

        If its only for horizontal and vertical distortion the main difference is that the stage live edit is for the whole Izzy project and the mapper is per scene.

          The stage setup also lets you do edge blend, and edge blend on keystoned and rotated stages.

            also: Stage Live Edit is global. any changes made will carry over to next time you open Isadora, which, if it's been a while since you did a Stage Live Edit, will confuse you to the point of insanity. @Michel - how do I revert changes made in the Stage Live Edit and default back to an unmapped projection?

            cheers, John

              ok - i found it in Stage Setup, resetting the corner points to zero does the trick.
