Isadora Werkstatt 2019

Wow. As a relative newcomer to Isadora, it would be so exciting to attend this workshop. Do you have a sense of pricing so that I can see if my job might help fund my registration? Thanks!

I can't release that information yet, but the pricing model will be similar to 2017 (https://pretix.eu/troikatronix/werkstatt-2017/) but with a ~25% increase in price due to the fact that this time around there are four full days of workshops instead of three.

I just edited the post to include one more piece of information that may be relevant to you, (since you're relatively new to Isadora and need to apply for funding from your place of employment in order to attend):
"TroikaTronix will be providing free, one-month Isadora licenses to any Werkstatt attendees who do not already own an Isadora license."
That is to say that you don't need to buy or already own an Isadora license in order to participate in the Werkstatt. If people already have licenses when they come or they buy a license ahead of time, that's great, but for anyone who does not have a license we provide free licenses that last a month so that they can participate. (We know that Werkstatt ticket + travel (often a plane ticket) + accommodations + food + pocket money can really add up.)

I'm very much looking forward to hopefully coming to this (I did the one back in 2016 and it was superb).
In terms of beginning to plan how much to budget for the trip, do you have a plan of what time sessions would start on the Wednesday & finish on the Saturday? Are both full days, so should I be looking for Tuesday - Sunday stay?

Sessions will begin at approximately 10am on Wednesday. We have full days planned for all four days. Saturday night may well end up being a late night (stay tuned for an announcement at the beginning of June for more details on the subject).

Thanks @woland! I'll aim for the duration then! :-)

Hey Lucas, if we wanted to offer a performance of our show at the Werkstatt, who should I contact to talk to about that?

Dear Isadora Staff,
I trying to get into the shop to buy the Werkstatt ticket but it seems doesn't work? Anyone can help me?
Thanks

I have a problem with the Werkstatt program and perhaps I am not alone with this problem. The different presentation during a day are not similar but seem to be interesting for the same people so it is not possible to visit more than one. Personally I am interesting in:
Loopstation (part 1 of 2)
Composition and the Hybrid Instrument/Interface
Generating Content: Isadora as a Generative Video Tool (part 1 of 2)
Getting the Most from Isadora 3but all at the same time and I think some people would go to
MIDI Show Control Freak: Isadora, QLab
and
Lighting Consoles and Talking to Lights; DMX, Artnet, and Pixel Mappingalso at the same time. It is very frustrating.
best

Welcome to the dilemma of attending any conference ever
