@Michel Thank you! Do you use skeleton tracking with Isadora and Mac, what kind of depth camera do you use?

As I just know in the past Xbox kinect was only compatible with PC, another thing to consider before I'll buy a Mac.

Here you find all information what 3d cameras work directly with Isadora https://support.troikatronix.c.... I have a Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360 and a Orbbec Astra Pro working nicely. I prefer the Orbbec Astra Pro because it does not need extra power and the depth range is better. Even though Orbbec does not offer an SDK for Mac anymore they do work with the OpenNI Plugin in Isadora. You just have to install the"masquerade.txt" for the Orbbec to work. So read the installation instructions of the OpenNI plugin carefully.

Incase this is relevant, regarding the Orbec Astra (I didn't get the pro which I see Michel you have, and would be nice for the HD rgb camera function but otherwise I believe has the same depth camera and range of 8 metres?) – for buying it in Europe, Orbecc themselves recommended their partner supplier to me https://www.mybotshop.de as postage from US was otherwise very expensive.
