We are delighted to announce Isadora 3.2, the choice for mission-critical performance and control. This release enriches the Isadora workspace with many UX enhancements, adds powerful new actors, and stomps out a bunch of bugs.

Something For Everyone

3.2 has something for every Isadora user. Both Mac and PC have powerful new features to tap into. Windows stage recording has never been so easy, or fast, now with support for GPU-accelerated H264 encoding. Mac users regain access to AppleScript, allowing simple scripted control of some of Isadora’s core functions. Programmers get an array of new JavaScript tools and improvements, while we all benefit from the wide range of UX enhancements found throughout the application.

Controls Are Dynamic

Based on user feedback and industry collaboration, Isadora 3.2 includes a more dynamic version of the Radio Button control, the List Selector. The List Selector can be dynamically populated by incoming data, allowing it to change in real-time according to your needs. Now you take control!

Already the List Selector has proven to be invaluable in remote performance, streaming, and broadcasting. We expect you will find new and creative ways to use this powerful new control.

Get/Post URL Text

For some time it has been easy to Get URL Text, but now you can post URL text just as easily. The new post mode of the renamed Get/Post URL Text actor allows easy control of a wide variety of hardware devices offering a web-based API, as well as, countless online services.

Isadora is the ultimate creative toolbox, filled with countless jewels you can spend hours diving into, or the easy-to-use staples that drag and drop a show into existence in mere minutes. The new UX enhancements allow you to work in ways that allow your creativity to light up.
