The time has come to submit to the demands of the UK Theatre Technicians and get myself a MacBook. So I can learn QLab and speak the same language as them. I won't be runnning shows from it, but would like to be able to use the machine for Isadora as well as QLab, and to be able to demonstrate / troubleshoot cueing Isadora from QLab.
Any thoughts on the minimum spec I can get away with for Isadora, which will let me run two projectors as well as the laptop's screen?

I really have not got much understanding of the MacBook offerings. And we haven't had a thread on Macbooks for nearly a year!

      TIA
Mark in London (who has not queued up to see the Queen).

        Hi,

imo, You should look at a MacBook Pro with M1 Max chip with 32gb ram as a minimum.

        Best wishes

@bonemap Agree. QLab works fine on my M1 MBP. And of course, so does Isadora.

             Thanks for your reply.
Please can you tell me exactly which model you have? Does it have M1 Pro or M1 Max?
            Thanks
