I was curious about the development of IzzyCast, so joined the YouTube livestream for this session. It is really interesting to see the enthusiasm for Isadora visual programming in a completely different context and a departure from its ‘dance and technology’ roots! I also looked at a couple of other Isadora focus sessions previously recorded in the Office Hours video index. It was great to see how Isadora has been integrated into the ‘family’ for what appears to be a community of video and broadcast technicians.

I look forward to using the IzzyCast actor set that was described in the session and am curious at what price point the pay by the minute usage fees might settle.

Wishing Isadora all the best with this venture.

        Best wishes

        Russell

Just hearing about Izzycast now and incredibly excited to start working with it. Totally on board with the necessity of per minute pricing but hopefully the fees won't deter too many folks from using its potential. Maybe there could be a way to setup a donation funded minute pool for those that don't have access to decent funding? I am fortunate to have at least some institutional support but so much of the best work out there is made by people with limited resources (at least in the US).
