             That model has always been DVI only, but I - and probably everyone else - use mine with DVI to HDMI converters and it's never been an issue.
            These Datapath's are, IMO, a considerably better option than the Matrox THTG. As @mark discovered recently, I believe.

              Yes, they are definitely better, there's no question about that. The reason both get mentioned is that the Matrox is sort of pro-sumer grade rather than professional grade and as such is priced accordingly, whereas the Datapath Fx4 is professional-grade and priced accordingly. (Many of the artists in our community (including myself) don't necessarily have the funds to go the route of the Datapath but can afford a Matrox.)

                 Which is precisely why I highlighted these secondhand Datapath X4s.
                They are not the current model, but if you're working in 1080p they're fine.
                There are more and more of them appearing on eBay as AV companies update their kit.
