      dear All

I’m about to purchase a 3  screen display 1 input

I use Isadora in theatres via 3 projection screens have done same for 5 years.
problem is building & editing show at the moment done in my studio with 3 lcd screen connected to 3 ports in my MacBook Pro.
      this works well

The 3 screen display is very transportable & can be used during the tour in say hotel rooms.

Has anybody out there done this ?

It uses 1 display port type c

If I programme with Isadora will software be ok with this and video outputs be my new screens (via 1 thunderbolt connector) or my beamers (via 3 outputs from my mac ) depending what output equipment is plugged will not affect my Isadora programming

      As alway many thanks

          The other issue I have

Is the drivers they supply need macOS 12 software

I Run Isadora 3.1.1 with Catalina (macOS 10-15-7

I have a massive tour in 3weeks am I right in saying upgrading could change some of my settings ?

It looks like the KPKUE X90M can only be connected by USBC.

The one that I have linked to has three HDMI inputs, and I would think that would work well to emulate your studio setup on the road. I don't know if you need drivers to make it function this way (as opposed to connecting via USBC).

I would never upgrade anything just before a major tour... that's kind of asking for trouble!

You can always install newer versions of Isadora alongside your current copy, and test your files in the new version. see: How to Install Multiple Versions of Isadora : TroikaTronix

Given that you say you have a massive tour pending, I'm not sure I would do any upgrading unless I was absolutely confident (much testing) that everything was working as expected.

note: since some updates require a file format change, its best to always copy your project file (and rename it) then open and update this new version so you can be clear about which file is updated and which is original.

This is unnecessary. Having to do this constantly with Isadora 1 and 2 annoyed me so much that for the release of Isadora 3, I bullied Mark into making a dialog that comes up automatically and all but forces you to leave the original file untouched and instead pushes you to open and update a copy of the original file in the new version.
