      having difficulties  with running  apple pro  res 4:2:2  on a macbook pro ( 8gb, i7 ,  13"screen with ssd disc.  )  using dualhead2go analog , res.2048x768 , the picture is hanging

      any solutions ?

        convert to PhotoJPG at 75-85% quality. I am sure your mac can not handle ProRes real time that large.

          sounds to me like a cpu load thing, since you have SSD. Are you running fx, or chop actors?

            thanks for your anshers, we have try to render other codecs, but it seems to be a buck in the files,

            we try to avoid doing anything else then play the file, but iven in photo jpeg 1024x384 it won´t run smooth,
            checking the activity monitor, there shout be plenty of headroom.
