      @Kinoni

yes. the one time the stream worked via the isadora live capture settings window the video feed was faultless. when i used the app (as the live capture settings window was green screening) i saw momentary freezing of the stream.
this to me suggests that it's a reception not broadcast originated issue.
many thanks for working with us to get your great app working with isadora.

@kinoni great work! multicam and OSC would be really fantastic! So my Facetime Camera seems to work in Isadora. Maybe its like Skulpture mentioned, a reboot thing. Yes its an IPhone 4 with IOS7.

Hello everybody, long time without coming here!

I just finished a video scenography including live images with air beam and I am very impressed by the quality of epoccam. It would be good to have the possibility to reduce the bandwidth, to avoid some freezing.
But the possibility to not have the image moving between vertical and horizontal is very great (not the same in AirBeam, trying to change the size…).
I wait for the next developments!
            Bravo, Jacques hoepffner

@kinoni just tested the syphon viewer with my IPad 4 Retina, works great with Isadora. Thank you so much.

@mark syphon to video actor works, but syphon to image doesnt seem to work right. But there is always the possibility of the video to image actor.
Managed to run Epoccam (IPad4) and AirBeam (IPhone4) at the same time. http://youtu.be/qMwBs5r9dPQ

Everyone, thanks for the positive comments and feedback. That gives us motivation to make our software more useful for Isadora users. As interesting as the multi-cam support and other features are to implement, we also need to think about financial side. As I said before we need to create a iPhone / Android app for multi-camera support and other features discussed in this thread. It will be free to try but to unlock all the features customers need to pay for something. Any comments what would be reasonable price tag for a product with 4 camera support and other features discussed in this thread?

In this thread I can see people want at least
-multi-cam support (almost done, will released soon)
                -OSC
                -USB support (with 1080p support)
-higher framerates (60 or 120 frames per second)
What is your priority order, what features are most needed? We can then implement those first.
@Skulpture. Thanks for the feedback. You might want to wait for multi-camera support before mentioning our app in your blog.
@particlep: Could be network bandwidth issue as well. We need to add settings to limit needed bandwidth.
@rainbow: Good to hear it works since this is just our first public try-out.
@feinsinn: Multicam is coming soon. For OSC we probably add features release by release, based on what users want.
@jhoepffner: Thanks, we believe we have the best quality and lowest bandwidth requirement. I agree that bandwidth / resolution should be adjustable. Added to our TODO-list.

In terms of priority I would personally say in the order you have listed them :)

@Kinoni Is Epoccam compatible with SKYPE 6.6.0.467 on MBP OSX Lion 10.7.5 & iPhone OS 7.0.4? Back in July when this thread started there was an issue. sorry for the slightly off topic question.

Just an observation on Multi-Cam support. It's currently possible on a Mac. Just duplicate the Syphon Viewer, open one phone and one viewer so that they connect, then open the other viewer and cam and they will connect. The only thing is that the two cameras are identically named within the Syphon actor, but otherwise it's great!

@vanderzee It still does not work. Looks like Skype for OS X has changed the way it uses webcam, basically using newer webcam-API. This is something we are already working on, but can't promise you any dates when it is available.

                          Hello,

For me EpoccamHD with Syphon is working fine, but it would be good to have the possibility to use the free one without logo, because it's more stable with wifi.
I revote for the possibility to change definition and framerate (like in Ai....m…)
But I like the possibilities of Epoccam.

All, thanks for the feedback. As requested we have now added feature to change video resolution. EpocCam free version only supports 640x480, paid version supports also 1280x720 and soon-to-be-published multicamera version also supports 352x288. To change resolution just start viewer as normal and wait for iPhone to connect. A new menu will appear called 'Camera1'. That menu will list all available resolutions and allows changing them. After choosing new resolution client will be briefly disconnected and reconnected with desired resolution. Link to new drivers:

All feedback is very welcome, the app most probably has some bugs.
Next steps are to publish multi-camera version and then we will look into OSC support. Will keep you updated.

Worked very well for me, thank you!

Setting up a local wireless network improved stability a lot - 1h non-stop with EpocCam HD today without problems.
                              A feature request:
Would it be possible to regulate the intensity of the light? At the moment image quality suffers when close to the object due to the strong light.
                              Best, Stephan

Thanks for the feedback Stephan. We haven't really done any changes to improve stability, but using lower resolutions surely makes the connection more stable. Edit: I misread your comment, surely having a non-crowded network improves connection stability.
I think intensity of light is also called exposure? Controlling exposure is supported on some newer devices, so basically we can have auto-exposure (used currently), auto-adjust once and then lock it or lock it to certain position in camera feed. We will implement this feature to some coming release.

I actually was referring  to the iPhone flash light - it would be useful to control the intensity to get more control over illumination of the filmed scene.

That is doable as well on latest devices. iPhone app user interface will be cramped if we add all the settings there, now I see the benefits of using OSC to control various capture parameters.

                                          Hello all,

I just downloaded the newest version of the Multicam app, the Viewer Pro, and the Mac beta drivers.
I was able to get the two video streams, one from my IPhone 5 and one from my iPad going in no time and then had the video going into Isadora via Syphon with no problems.
I am currently working on Mavericks on a MacMini and a demo version of the current pre-release of Isadora.
I did not see any logos on either camera. There was a very handy WiFi meter displayed on the screen of my phone and iPad that seemed to be responsive and accurate (in that their behavior matched the quality of the video coming through.)
There were choices for different resolutions for each camera. I did find that the video started lagging when I put it up to full quality but this was clearly an issue of my local network. Kicking it down to 640x480 I had a fairly low latency (as good as I would hope of a wireless network) and there was not additional lag between the EpocCam Viewer and Isadora's Syphon stream.
Excellent work!!!! Now that it is working on my system this is going to be goto for wireless video.

Worth mentioning is that in the viewer window the multiple video signals seem to be displayed in a "picture in picture" type method. Clicking on the small inset image swaps its place with the larger image.  There did not seem to be a clear way of designating which video camera was listed as Camera 1, 2, 3, or 4. . . So I'm not sure if ordering of cameras will be easily maintained between sessions or you will have to make sure to turn everything on in a certain order OR repatch which camera is going where at the beginning of each session. . .will look into this and get back.
