Totally fine please check the adapter before plugging it in, you can permanently cause damage to your cable (and we don’t have that luxury now!)

What I mean is voltage, don’t put 12v thru it when it expecting 5v.

Oh and that multi port adapter is not doing any favors, it could be that you are sending too much signals thru that port / that the data transmission and receive are being capped, and especially web camera’s can have issues with that

 That's right. I was streaming via Atem mini pro using high quality setting. I love the flexibility/functionality/accessibility of OBS but have found that, for demanding patches, software streaming can be tough on CPU

@bonemap bit off topic from GoPro but I have been using the newish pihq camera with c/cs lens mount https://www.raspberrypi.org/pr... with a raspberry pi to make hdmi cameras - very few lines of python code to get full screen hdmi out. There are pros and cons of course - lots of lens options, but fixed focus. Lots of camera options can be fiddled with in code. Not many more lines of code to make a time lapse camera, and very customisable.

I too have a C920. But I did remove the LogiCapture software. Sometimes Isadora did not see the camera at all if I had opened the LogiCapture software at all that day. A restart fixed that. 

But for me once it works it was fine. Maybe remove the LogiCapture software and see? Not sure how else I can help here really. Sorry.

A very simple version of this can be accomplished, by using a live camera input (you may need to play with back vs front lighting).

Then applying a Threshold actor (to create a black and white only version of the video input). Then the Edge actor (this will trace the edge between the white and black) providing the outline.

You can then send this outline/shadow to any outputs and/or mapping you like.
