      Dear All,

I've been working with one user to track down a bug with Quartz Composer patches (.qtz) in Isadora that appears only on 10.10 Yosemite. My research is now pointing to the fact that it may be an Apple problem and not an Isadora problem.
I am waiting for permission from the user to post the examples I made from his patches.
But basically it goes like this:
      1) One example plays a movie into Vade's Rutt Etra module, which serves as a "billboard" output. This works fine in Isadora and in Quartz Composer
      2) In the second example, there is a set of modules that generate an image (ending in an "Image Multiplexer" module) which then leads to a Billboard actor. Note that this patch, on it's own, works fine in Isadora and Quartz Composer. But in my version, I took the output of the "Image Multiplexer" module directly into the Rutt Etra input. This does not render -- just black.
There is a FPS Counter module in both versions, and that renders fine.
What's the word on the street about Yosemite 10.10 and Quartz Composer. I think we know Apple is abandoning QC, but has anyone else heard of bugs or other problems when using QC under 10.10?
Thanks for sharing whatever you know.
      Best Wishes,
      Mark
