Instant volume change in movie player

What is the audio card you are using?

Also, if going instantly from 0 to 100 you might always get a crack..
You may be better to use a short (1/4 second) fade.. -
Its the onboard audiocard. coulndt find more than "realtek high definition audio".

Have you tried with the ultra short fade? -
yes, I tried the short transition but still the same. And anyway I also need the smooth transitions. By the way I used wav-files.
I now tried an mp3-file which is played only in the movieplayer, not in the sound-player. But this seems to works fine now for me.
