Not directly Isadora related, but most of us shoot video so I thought I'd post this link to Blackmagic's entry into the camera market. Looks pretty good, and the features they describe seem well thought out. I'll be very curious to get some firsthand reports on this beast.

(Of course, I'm curious to know if this device can provide a live feed into Isadora.)

Not a camera answer, but an odd forum response. The comment box keeps growing and growing never stopping which makes the text of the message too small to read. Only happens to occasional messages and only on my ipad.

Wow! .. looks good, yes. and not pricey considering the SI-2K mini, which does a similar job but is almost 10 times more expensive...

Was discussed short on the old Forum, what is missing for me is, no full frame sensor. But next to that it seems a great camera.

              Best,

Hmmm no genlock also, would have considered it for 3D cinematography otherwise. Will be experimenting with live 3D (stereoscopic) projection soon, anyone tried that?

To echo Michel's comment, I would love a full frame sensor. That said, getting one on at this price point given all the other features they have included isn't really going to happen at this point in time but I would expect something bigger than their sub micro-4/3 sensor size. I don't think it would be unreasonable to expect something more along the lines of an APS-C sized chip for $3k.
