      Hi I have experiences Java script errors when opening the Kinect/Isadora folders for Processing. Any help would be useful please. I have logged this onto the Processing forum too.

        You need to be running Processing 2.7 for this tutorial.

        I can see here you are running 3.3.6

          @dusx Thank you. I am including the thred from Processing Forum too here:https://forum.processing.org/t...and

          https://forum.processing.org/t...

          They are suggesting to go back to Processing 2. However it was running fine couple week ago on Processing 3.

          May I ask if the Kinect/Processing patch be updated for use with Isadora& Processing 3 in nearer future?

          Thank you.

            @LucieDance

            I think your chances of getting an update are small: the Kinect has been discontinued, and I think people will be moving on to other tracking devices.
            What are you trying to achieve with the Kinect? If you're trying to track movement of body parts I would recommend NiMate. I have found the free version to be very reliable in passing OSC signals from Kinect to Isadora.
            @Skulpture made a video tutorial here. The tutorial is for the newer Kinect, and for Windows, but NiMate should work the same on your Mac.

              @luciedance

              The tutorial patch requires Processing Libraries that are only available for Processing 2, so it is not possible to update this patch for Processing 3.

                @LucieDance the easiest way (no code and no lib install at all) to get Kinect info on mac is to use synapse http://synapsekinect.tumblr.co...

                It will pass all the coordinates through OSC. Nimate can be quite annoying to install, here it's already packed in the app.
