Hello there! Question that I have been bouncing back and forth. I have about $1200 to purchase a computer. I use the computer for Izzy-related things for the most part. Sometimes I need to travel to a theatre, sometimes I just use it in my studio (which converts to a small black box). Should I be looking into a tower or a laptop (for portability)?
In house/for my next project I need to project to 3 projectors using a Matrox TripleHead2Go, have at least 2 live feeds via USB over ethernet, and also have 3 monitors (not sure how they will be connected yet).
All my equipment (and my license to Izzy) is geared for PC. If I were to switch to Mac it would be another $$$ to get the dongles and licenses, so I'm looking towards PCs for now. Any suggestions, experiences, opinions appreciated.
We have a show at the end of the month and I would like to purchase soon. Currently using my well loved laptop, but it does unpredictable things and crashes sometimes.

As to what I'm currently looking at, here's one of the laptops: https://www.newegg.com/Product...

      And a desktop: https://www.newegg.com/Product...
      Thank you!

I think driving 3 monitors + TripleHead2Go (= four displays + built in display) and two live feeds plus video processing is a lot to ask of a laptop, but I could be wrong. It's my first instinct to say you should go with a small, portable desktop.
