Missing CI actors



  • I installed the Isadora Core trial on a machine before realizing that Isadora USB key version had been purchased for that machine.  When I received the USB key, I just installed the USB version as well.  Now the USB version does not have any of the CI actors.  I put the other version in the trash and emptied the trash and restarted the machine, which obviously did not solve any problem.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

  • What is the best way to uninstall Isadora and start over?



  • I put the usb version in the trash and then reinstalled it.  When I first opened the application the CI objects were there.  Then when I registered the USB key and restarted the program, they were gone.

    The demo version always shows all CI actors, but as soon as you register Isadora and did not buy the additional core upgrades you will not see the CI actors anymore, although you have installed IsadoraCore. Please check your invoice to make sure that you really paid the extra $ 25.- for core video and another extra $ 25.- for core audio. If yes contact the support page as DusX mentioned.

    I know that this naming convention is confusing, but just because you have IsadoraCore USB does not mean that you have the Core Video Upgrade.
    This is how it works:
    Isadora (not Core) is for computers running 10.3.9 or earlier
    Isadora Core is for computers running 10.4.0 or later
    to get the Core Video actors you must purchase the Core Video upgrade for $25\. Neither your name nor email address show up in our user database; so I can't check this for sure.
