CCTV camera as a video input

What is a good solution to getting a PC to recognise a CCTV camera as a video input - any recommendations for CCTV cam and PC card or dongle?

So basically the thing with CCTV camera's is that we need to convert the signal from Analog / AHD to a proper format that our PC can understand. For this we need a couple different things really..

The Intensity Shuttle of Blackmagic has proper Analog inputs. It is quite easy to make RCA connectors for the above camera (It requires a bit of soldering to do so). If you got that nailed down, you can actually use your USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt connection on your PC as a 'Live input' that you can use in Isadora / Resolume / etc.

@juriaan Thanks -- looking on Amazon, the thing has terrible reviews, because of its pickiness of the PC hardware it works with. Are you saying that with this the PC will recognise the camera as an input? -so for example i could use it as an input for say, Skype?

I use it with either USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt connection and I never had issues with it. And yes, that is correct it should also show itself in Skype..
