Is there a way to sort of save the project so that it saves a copy in whatever location you choose, and then searches for all your media in all the locations Isadora is linking from and puts them in a single folder and relinks those files in the copied Isadora show? I ask because this is a feature of QLab and I find we're often programming on one computer and then doing playback on the company's or venue's machine. Some people's file organization is better than others and occasionally files get lost.

        Hi,

It is not currently available, unfortunately.

You will find similar question and supporting response to this question here. It has been asked a number of times over many years and there are some complications around the implementation that have been discussed here, and here also.

I took a look at these old threads and the arguments do not seem like a good reason not to have a version of this feature. Just a simple collect all media (and it collects everything in the project and copies it to a location of your choice, organised in bins and media types.

Sure this is no good for a VJ who has 10000 clips, but for most cases it is great.

I would like to have a media versioning system, this could be an answer to some of the other questions this proposal involves.

Here is a feature request post for versioning:

Now if we had that feature when we go to make our bundled backup we can chose to copy all versions of all files or copy only the ones that are used (see post for details of that might work)

Yes, this would be such a useful feature when moving, backing up and archiving projects. The versioning feature is also an interesting one.

            Best wishes
