Crash logs sent via windows



  • I have had some crashes and sent the logs via the windows crash log interface. What is the appropriate way to follow these up?

    As with any issue, (especially urgent ones) we prefer that you create a support ticket so that more of our team can see it, so we can act more quickly, and so that we can more easily converse with you. It's also much better for us if you can send us crash logs in tickets with as much information about your setup, the issue, etc, as possible.

    I will add that the automatically submitted crash logs are collected, and processed periodically.
    The benefit of this method, is that we can see the number of matching submissions, giving us a sense of how common the issue may be.



  • @dusx Ok, I submitted a bug report, got a few in a row with very similar situations, but it was not 100% repeatable.
