well, this laser device looks like good fun. I've been doing some projects using coloured laser pens and Izzy for a while but i'm not so experienced with proper laser hardware. It would be great to have an easy and affordable laser device that I could control via Isadora.

It seems to take midi, which can also be used as a way to link to dmx.

@videosmith I very much enjoyed your Video Culture video and work with feedback -

@jjhp3 In fact, allow me to add more... the emergent properties of feedback, so well enumerated in Hofstadters' book, fascinate me. Your work is some of the best I've seen (or made) that gives that feeling. - Thanks anew, John

@jjhp3 thankyou so much for your kind words John, that means a lot! 😊

I tend to stick with very basic feedback techniques, but Isadora has really opened up how I use them, and how I apply them to a context. I really really enjoyed Hofstadters writing on the subject. I referenced him a number of times in my thesis, which I suspect you may also enjoy - there are a number of other contemporary feedback artists, some pics of my 'Video Voyages' (another D.H. reference) along with my broad isadora schematics of 3 main works:

Video in the Abyss - In the context of the digital, is analogue video feedback still useful as an approach to making art?
