Longstanding Forum Bug Fixed (External Link Prevented Reply)

Dear All,
Since at least August 2021, there has been a bug in the forum as follows: when clicking on an external link to a topic (e.g., from an email, or Facebook, etc.) you would be unable to reply. This was fixed a few days ago and our tests show that it works as expected again.
Maybe not so many of you noticed, but it was annoying to myself and the team, so we're glad to have it working.
