[ANSWERED] Using 3DS Files and the RTMP Streamer actor
-
Hi,
I can't get my 3ds files shown in Twitch.TV live. What is the problem?
I have ASUS Strix ROG PC with Windows 10 and AMD Ryzen 7 8 Core CPU. -

Are you rendering your 3D in Isadora using a 3D player?
How are you sending your output to Twitch, are you using the RTSP add-on? -

I just use RTSP plugin and normal 3d Player to Stage 1.

Hi there Morfin!
Could you be so kind to submit a Technical Support ticket so that our Technical Support staff can look into this issue with you / share some files with each other?
You can create a ticket by following this link; https://support.troikatronix.c...
Thanks!

Try setting the 'z translate' input on the 3D Player to -3 or -5.
At the coordinates 0, 0, 0 (the default) your "3D Camera" so to speak is *inside* the center of your 3D model. Think about how hard it would be to see an apple if your eyeball was *inside* the apple. You have to either move the camera away from the object by changing the 'z translate' input on a 3D Stage Orientation actor to a small negative number or you need to move the object away from the camera by changing the 'z translate' input on the 3D Player to a small negative number.Best wishes,
Woland

I have written to @morfin_mafer via the support ticket system, but what I think is going on here is that the feed to the RTMP streamer isn't the final composited stage image.
I suggested using the Get Stage Image actor as the source to the RTMP streamer actor to ensure that the final composited image is grabbed for output to the RTMP stream.
Further, I suggested that the RTMP streamer actor be placed in a background scene that is always active since it is easy to kill the stream when moving between scenes.I haven't confirmed this to be the root of the issue yet, but these are good practices to be aware of.

I got now everything to work. And yes that Stage Image Actor was missing.
