Tempo - Watcher User Actor

Made this user actor that watches and outputs tempo information for use and manipulation in Isadora.
I thought it could be useful to somebody else as well; if possible, it could be added to the add-ons page.
It's pretty straightforward. Connect a note on watcher into the trigger input and configure some form of midi input from a DAW, ensure that the port numbers are properly coordinated, and it should output useful tempo information.

I'm also wondering if it's possible to edit the help information in a user actor, if anybody could provide some guidance. It would be great if the actor inputs contained directions "in the box" for ease of access and clarity of purpose.

Glad you are embracing the power of User Actors. If you haven't yet, I suggest going through the add-ons page, to grab all the great user actors already posted for use there.
wondering if it's possible to edit the help information in a user actor
User Actors don't have that capability yet. It is something we have in our feature requests. I sometimes link a Text actor (double click it to open a text editor window) to a User Actors output and label it as help text. This allows it to be read from outside the user actor. It's a slight workaround. Of course, you can also write comments inside the user actor, with formatting, which can be helpful for documentation.
