can someone update me with how to get rid of that pesky yellow dot on Mac OS?

I'm on most recent Ventura, updating from Catalina on older Mac that didn't have this trouble. I had forgotten it, and I am about to do live projections. Grrrr

        update: i found the thread:

        https://community.troikatronix...

        - Looks like the only way is by undermining my 'System Integrity Protection' which seems like a bad idea and a fairly hefty inconvenience for all the other apps and stuff on my machine. Any advice appreciated...

Once again, Apple rolls out a feature that causes lots of "fun" for all sorts of professionals. *sigh*

update: I was mistaken as the projector was set to overscan already. I read elsewhere that some Blackmagic devices disable it, but haven't checked it.
