      Hi all,

for an upcoming project, I need to use my IDS DBK33GX462 Gigabit Ethernet camera as a live input in Mac OS 10.15.7 Catalina. It doesn't show up in the devices list under "live capture settings".

(and the camera manufacturer The Imaging Source doesn't provide any drivers nor software for Mac OS...)

Any chance I can make it happen ?

      PC Laptop ASUS ROG G702VS - i7-7700HQ (2.8GHz) - 16 Go RAM - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 - Win10 64 bit
      MacBook Pro Retina 15" (early 2013) - Quad-Core Intel Core i7 (2.7GHz) - 16 Go RAM - Intel HD Graphics 4000 / NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M - MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

It's not going to show up in live capture because it's not a camera that's connected to the camera via USB (via capture card or directly like webcams) nor is it an integrated camera (like the camera on a laptop).

Maybe set it up on a Windows NUC to send the video stream to the network over NDI, then pick up the NDI video with an NDI Watcher on your Mac?

        Best wishes,

        Woland

This is a Gig-e vision camera

As yet Isadora does not support this. Gigevision cameras are great, but they are not widely supported by systems like Isadora. Supposedly TD has support for this, I didnt check though.
