OSC Transmit - To iPad
This isn't exactly an izzy issue - however I am hoping someone with some Hexler.net experience can offer some setup insight.
I have been playing with TouchOSC and getting izzy to work with commands from my ipad successfully.
However, I am trying to turn on an led on the ipad once a horizontal fader (on the same OSC page) hits 100.
I have the OSC transmitter:
- 10.0.7.1 = udp addr
- 1234 = port
- /led 1 = osc address
- off = use type
- 100 = value
My assumption is, when the fader hits 100, the led should turn on.
Not so (yet).
Any one offer some insight?
Port 1234 is the isadora port. Touchosc will have it's own port for incoming data. I think by default it's 5001.
Brilliant! Reset to the ipad incoming port 9000 Thanks much.
So is it working now?it's often handy to have the touchOSC editor open so you can copy and paste all the pathways; _"/1/fader/"_, etc.I keep meaning to make a tutorial about this actually....
prods Skulpture keep meaning to a bit quicker nod nod
Haha ok. It's only difficult to do as I can't screen capture it all in one go, I need to film my iPad, etc. I will try an do it this week for you.
This should help @marcihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlW2H7SVou8
@Chizzer basically OSC is from 0.0 to 1.0 so its not when it triggers 100 but 1.
Part 2; for @Marcihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCDZEJc2x5E
