There is 2 problems, first one is "finder in front", I know it since a long time and I resolved it with an apple script saying to Isadora to be in front. (I put the script here) The second is, if I choose in Isadora preferences "Automatically show stage", after the script, the working panel of Isadora come in front of the scene, showing tools in front of video. For the moment I resolve it unticking "Automatically show stage", having an "init" scene waiting 5 seconds (time to Isadora to come in front with the apple script) and then an actor show the scene. It works, but it could be a more elegant way? Thanks, Jacques

good to hear you have it working..
I was going to suggest trying to add msvcr100.dll to the Isadora program folder.
This error has come up a time or two for me as well.. and generally resolves itself with similar install/updates.
It does seem like a windows issue, but its one I will keep track of.

love the whole look and feel of the new izzy, could never get it to work with maddmapper, now its just doing it....wonderfull, good stuff mark, happy to contribute and there's not to many products out there that that can be said of.

That was too much useless data for the speed control.
With a multi blocker, it works well now ! (with 0,1s and with 0,05s)

In the end, as I announced , a file of 536 mb with 54000 tif pictures 14,5mo each, at least 12 hours to calculate the thumbnails !
Would there be a solution in the future to disconnect the rendering of thumbnails?

The advice is very different depending on whether you have a 1.x or a 2.x license, as per Vanakurus message above.

For 1.x stick to PhotoJpg as suggested above. Downsize the resolution from HD to half size if your computer is not powerful enough.

It worries me a bit that it says you can't load the desired codec.  Which codec/s refuse to load?
If you continue to have problems consider sending in an official support request and we can get deeper into checking your machine and codec specs to see if you are experiencing issues beyond normal performance fine tuning needs.

There was a bug in older versions of Isadora where the Note Off was ignored. But that was fixed some time ago and that fix is definitely in 2.0.5\. The bug did not exist on Mac OS. What platform are you on and what version of Isadora are you using? Best Wishes, Mark

Well, this is a bit inconsistent I must admit. When in 'gated' mode, the Gate and Selector actors do not give the upstream actors and "attention," i.e. values are not pulled from them. And it does look like the Movie Player stops, given that the indicator at the bottom stops moving. But, the background process of playing the movie is in fact unaffected. That's kind of a separate thing, and it unaffected when you "block" the actor using a Gate or Selector. (This is also the way it was in Isadora 1.x, so it's not a new behavior.) As @dbini said, if you really want the movie to pause, you'll have to send a speed of 0 in addition to using the Selector actor. Best Wishes, Mark

I know you said you have tried Hap, but have you tried it for the slaved (video controlled by position input) video?
If Hap is used in Interactive mode, it should allow for the smoothest 'scrubbing' of video (at least my tests showed it to be the most interactive format)

I do not think this is a bug, but just an FYI: any use of a " (quote) in the title or pathway of a movie will cause it to not be recognized by Izzy (on the Mac platform at least).  Cheers, Kevin
