thanks mark.  i just made all the files 16 bit and it cured the problem.  adding a little short fade ramp to the files makes sense too, i'm just tight on time for this one.  you know how it is!

I use parallels 9 for little missing osx applications with WinXP on my old MBP 2009 Core2Duo 2,4 GHz - OsX 10.6. It's pretty fast and smart, I even use TMPGEnc Mastering Works for some video encoding tasks. The smartest thing is that you don't have to create a NTFS partition somewhere, Parallels creates a file which is your Win partition and mount it when you need it. Mine is 5 Go for a basic Win XP operating system.

The complete Isadora website is mirrored and all updates are made there first to test if everything goes well before we make the update to the live site.

The only change in the forum was setting the upcoming events button to the top so you don't miss it. The go button is now next to the search field instead of underneath. Forum version update will come later.
Wordpress itself and all the plugins where updated to the latest version, a good thing to do to close possible security issues.

A few extra plugins where installed including the one that will get us the long awaited "User Plugin / User Actor" download page (not setup yet, just installed). That way you don't have to search the forum anymore for that particular plugin you read about a few months ago somewhere in a post. We will only put up actors or plugins we have tested, possibly not all will make it onto that page. You will find them via categories or tags and can search for them. Will post in the forum when it's up.

Yes, I have the Core Video upgrade, and the scene I mentioned above is with a CI movie player and CI projector. I had tried the same scene with non-CI actors a while ago and got similar results. By "jumping" I mean clicking into other scenes directly, not necessarily using Jump actors. I'm familiar with the crossfading slow-down but that's not what I'm encountering. Most scenes start black and then turn on a movie or projector, so transitions are low-impact. I'll ping you a reminder a little later and see if you have a few minutes free. Thanks, Keith

I am having trouble with my triplehead2go digital as well...  It was working fine not too long ago on a early 2011 13" MBP running mountain lion. I now have a late 2013 15" Retina MBP and it is giving me grief. It allows me to do 3*640x480 and 3*800x600 but power desk crashes when I click apply for 3*1024x768 and then under information and troubleshooting it jumps to 3*1600x1200 which my native 1024x768 projectors can't handle. I'm going from mini display port to vga, and using dvi to vga adapters on the triplehead2go digital outs. I spent hours last night restarting and resetting pram, trying different ports and cables, and going down the list of resolutions. I contacted Matrox and they of course said the digital is not supported on Retina MBP (or any MBP with a thunderbolt/mini display port combined port)... I'm a bit miffed because now it's not working on my mountain lion 13" either... even though it was definitely working at 3*1024x768 before... I remember reading on this forum that someone had a triplehead2go digital working with a retina before... would it make a difference if I went DVI to the triplehead2go digital instead? Sorry for hijacking this thread, I didn't think we needed another one. James
