The idea of Makey does not allow this. You have a connection bridged with very large resistor 10MOhm or more that Arduino is set to read 0\. Your body resistance is less than that and thus Arduino reads more than 0 when you bridge the connention. If you set Arduino to react to the value over some threshold you get a trigger(MIDI note, switch etc). I have thought about this too and the only solution I found for my installation/object was to have person touch the ground connection without notice. Look fot capacitance sensors for more discreet setup.

Sorry if this isn't helpful but can you not calibrate the software so it can't go off the screen?

That counts possibly eight with myself - not too much for an 'Isadora User Meeting Berlin' in a 12 x 12m rehearsal room... About the equipment: I now can confirm that we will have access to a Panasonic PT-DX100 with a fixed wide angel lens and two Sanyo PDG-DET100 with F=1,6-1,9\. There is a screen in the room (4,5m wide) and 3 walls, although not perfectly even, are white. So @Ran we will have enough to project with and onto, but feel free to bring your equipment. I would prefer that everyone brings some small stuff, like cameras and sensors, so we have some peripherals to play with. As no one, beside m_theater, has made suggestions for the agenda, I guess this will be the one for the first meeting: meet up, play around, have fun. Maybe we'll find something more sophisticated for the second... For our well-being I will provide coffee, drinks, snacks and plan to get some 'real' food around 19:30 from these guys; http://suppen-cult.de Any vegetarians so far? Send me a PM.

Thank you all a lot: do you recomment me to join the early adopter program, or should the pre-release version also  solve my problem ? i will try the hap codec as well. But correct me if am wrong, i red in the release notes, that i should set the ‘optimize’ input of the Movie Player to ‘performance’ with H264 codec. But could´t find it in the pre-release version. yes i tryed some routings in the scarlett mix console.
but in this software you can see normally all on the machine processed daw audio channels. than you can take them and route where ever you want,
so. isadora dont send, in my case, to any output channel than to 1.2, so i can not play the output of differend audio actors to different output channels.

so a little start help will be great.

Yes Fred is right. AE is the only way to do this really. Isadora masks are not the same as AE. I think what Fred is suggesting is that you could make a single line going from left to right in a video and then take multiple masks of it and place it to fit around the shape. Could be tricky and take a bit of time to do.

Glad to help. I think the file could be a useful example to your students of the principle. In the end though, scaling this up to dozens of points is something better done in a traditional programming language like C or Javascript than in Isadora. Here's my file.  Both scene are doing the same thing.  In D, my video actor has "go input" initialize to 0 and "active input" to on.  In normal condition, I'd press the space bar and it send the 1 in "go". Second space bar will deactivate image. (I simplified the patch to see the problem) But, when you enter the scene there's is a trigger automatically sent that put 1 in "go" and 0 in "active", bypassing the behavior I'm trying to program.  In D2, you can see the same thing on the 3 video user actor. They should be all on 0, then the space bar activate the first one and the others after a delay.  I can precise that the Go cue actor, cue 3 voies has been copied from older patch created with previous Isadora 2 version.  Many thanks for your help!

I appreciate the gory details and I look forward to the new release.  I guess the only thing I would add as a feature request would be the ability to create a virtual stage that comprises of multiple physical projectors edge blended together.  That would speed up my process immensely. @Reinhard Thanks for the tip. I know there are many ways to work around the problem, but I was hoping there was a real solution, which Mark has said is coming soon. Craig

First I would recommend you update to the latest Version 2 release.

In version 2 the goal it to simplify the players, and projectors. So using the 'Movie Player' and the 'Projector' is the recommended actor combination.

Unless you are changing playback settings, you will benefit from AV foundation integration, so if possible I would suggest setting PB-Engine to performance.
 (If you are changing playback interactively I would recommend HAP as your codec)

Syphon to image is crashing Isadora v2.01. I use my own syphon no crash.
