Dear @craig,
I just checked these linkshttp://sentinelcustomer.safenet-inc.com/sentineldownloads/?s=GUI&c=End+User&p=Sentinel+HASP&o=Mac&t=all&l=all (Mac)andhttp://sentinelcustomer.safenet-inc.com/sentineldownloads/?s=GUI&c=End+User&p=Sentinel+HASP&o=Windows&t=all&l=all (Windows)and it does seem that 6.65 is the latest version. And yes, the problem you mention was something that I belief had been fixed. Your report is the first I've heard of this in quite some time. But one important question that is not answered in your sig line: what version of Isadora are you using? Are you using 2.0? Or 1.3f06? Or? Obviously the bug that I fixed is not present in 1.3.1f06, only in 2.0.Anyway, I guess we need to do another round of tests. You say "a couple of hours" -- I assume that mean 2 or 3\. Is that right? (Just so we have a basic idea of how long we'd need to wait to see this.)Best Wishes,Mark -
My boss is the operator so I try and check it about every hour or two. But sometimes two or three may go by without checking. Sometimes it says active and other times when reverts to demo it' s a full reboot. I was thinking about moving away from the usb key for this computer and downloading a standard Izzy app. That would solve my problem.

Oh, the actual computer is a new Mac mini running OS 10.10 and Isadora v 2.05. I use a Blackmagic box for the external output so all stops when it's bad. No one notices until it's needed. Thanks
-
Dear Craig,
If you are not actively editing the patch, why not just run the standard (non-USB) version of Isadora in demo mode? Is there a reason you need a fully enabled (i.e., save enabled) version for this? The only limitation of the demo is that it does not save.Best Wishes,Mark -
It seems that the ext output goes away in demo mode.
-
Oh, we have to save as we go also.
-
Dear @craigw,
Yes, I guess that's true. OK. If you need me to create a temporary license to allow you to work until we get this sorted, PM me.Best Wishes,Mark -
Please select the Isadora application icon and hit cmd+i, check if you have tick marked "prevent app nap" and restart your mac. Does this solve your problem?
Best Michel

It wasn't checked on my laptop, so I'm sure it's not on the work computer either. I'll do that Monday morning and that let you know how the day went.
Seems like a strange option.Thanks. -
Dear @craigw,
Yeah, it is. My guess is that it is related to the seemingly imminent convergence of all things Apple – meaning iPad/iPhone = Mac OS X. I mean, i guess it's good to be conscious of energy use, but you know, if you're on a desktop probably you're using it for the power it offers. Thus, defaulting to "App Nap" enabled certainly seems counterintuitive to me.Please do report back if it solves the problem.Best,Mark -
Yesterday all was good. However today it lost the connection again. So, Mark if you could, I think it's more safe to use a non USB version for now. So I guess I'll need a # for the registration.
Thanks -
Still happening....

Dear Craig,
I'm terribly sorry. I was working at a festival this week and wasn't checking the forum regularly. I will send you the temp license as soon as I get back to Berlin. (At an airport right now.)I've setup a reminder in my calendar so I won't forget.Best,Mark -
