That is doable as well on latest devices. iPhone app user interface will be cramped if we add all the settings there, now I see the benefits of using OSC to control various capture parameters. -

I just downloaded the newest version of the Multicam app, the Viewer Pro, and the Mac beta drivers.I was able to get the two video streams, one from my IPhone 5 and one from my iPad going in no time and then had the video going into Isadora via Syphon with no problems.I am currently working on Mavericks on a MacMini and a demo version of the current pre-release of Isadora.I did not see any logos on either camera. There was a very handy WiFi meter displayed on the screen of my phone and iPad that seemed to be responsive and accurate (in that their behavior matched the quality of the video coming through.)There were choices for different resolutions for each camera. I did find that the video started lagging when I put it up to full quality but this was clearly an issue of my local network. Kicking it down to 640x480 I had a fairly low latency (as good as I would hope of a wireless network) and there was not additional lag between the EpocCam Viewer and Isadora's Syphon stream.Excellent work!!!! Now that it is working on my system this is going to be goto for wireless video. -
Worth mentioning is that in the viewer window the multiple video signals seem to be displayed in a "picture in picture" type method. Clicking on the small inset image swaps its place with the larger image. There did not seem to be a clear way of designating which video camera was listed as Camera 1, 2, 3, or 4. . . So I'm not sure if ordering of cameras will be easily maintained between sessions or you will have to make sure to turn everything on in a certain order OR repatch which camera is going where at the beginning of each session. . .will look into this and get back.

@feinsinnGood to hear it works, whenever releasing new software there is always a chance it doesn't work.Thanks for sharing your experiences. There are no logos since it is paid application, we only put the watermark to free version :-) HD video takes quite a bit bandwidth, currently configured to two megabits per second. Changing bitrate could be easily controlled by OSC in the future version.Logic between video in windows is that big window is always camera 1 in Syphon and smaller "picture in picture" windows are from left to right camera 2, camera 3 and camera 4\. So if you click rightmost small window (camera 4) then camera 1 and camera 4 outputs are switched.Currently application saves video resolution for each device (based on their IP address). So each time you reconnect for example certain iPhone 4, it will be configured to use the video size you set earlier. As you said camera assignment order is not saved, if you want them to be in certain order you can either open iOS apps one by one in order (device you want to be camera 1 first, then device for camera 2 etc) or change the camera assignment by clicking the "picture in picture" cameras. -

I tried it, hoping that it would fix my "grey screen problems", but then realized that it is MAC only.

Multicamera for Windows is certainly doable. I wonder how does Isadora video input work on Windows as there is no Syphon framework available. Adding Syphon was very simple, multicam on Windows could be a lot of work. If we implement that or not depends on how popular Mac-version will be. -

Isadora for Windows uses standard DirectShow drivers for Video Input. There isn't Syphon for Windows (well, there's "Wyphon" but it only works on some cards... it's not a universal solution.) In any case, there's a Windows app that makes the video coming from a Kinect camera appear to be a webcam. It works really well.The source code is available, so maybe that's a place to start investigating. It's called "OpenNI 2 Virtual Webcam." I just tried with 2 cams (iPhone4 + iPod5) and it work perfectly with 640x480def.Just be careful to check Settings->Privacy->Microphone that EpocCam Multicam is allowed to use microphone (that was the Kinoni help).If not the app crashes on start. -
@Kinoni tested the new MultiCam, download instal start EpocCamViewerPro, iPhone4 and iPadMini, two cams work great,

On a mac (and presumably on Windows) you can create a network, also known as an adhoc network. This is what I have been doing to test this amazing app. I am not sure what the limitation speed is for the mac I use.All I know is that my mac has a "AirPort Extreme, 802.11g"
So my question;
If I wanted to use multiple devices using this amazing app and multiple syphon outputs - could I buy a better and stronger external WIIF hub, plug that in via LAN and then create a WIFI network? Basically NOT use my macs physical antena and use a better one?
I ask because there is potentially a lot of data going through the air... and presumably a faster wifi router is better? -
All, when connecting multiple devices do you see high CPU loads? If yes, is it an issue? My guess is that we could cut video processing CPU usage by 50% but that requires lots of work. So if it is not an issue right now, we'll do it later.Some thoughts on WiFi performance. Updating to latest Apple Airport Extreme WiFi base station will immediately boost network speed. Definitely it is better to connect Mac to router via cable to reduce network load. Also make sure router uses less crowded 5 GHz band.Would USB-connection help here? Or are iOS devices physically far away from Mac?Cool, we already have DirectShow-plugin for Windows. Multicamera still would need some work. @Skulpture & @Kinoni - I'm going to be doing some testing on an existing project with 2 cams today and will report back, but I'm already using a wifi router. My cam distances require it, and I'm sure for speeds it's better. So the Izzy mac is hard wired to the fastest router I could get, with a fixed IP, and the only things on the network are the two cams. I'm connecting one only a couple of meters away, but the other one is 20 meters away and through walls.

Hey, WINDOWS users: anyone else getting a grey screen (similar to the attached picture) as the complete signal from the iPhone, or is it just me? This is EpocCam HD on Windows 7 Pro, using the latest Windows drivers (v2.8.1).
I'm actually curious about the MAC-Windows split, too!

Tested the multicam and everything seams to work as it should. One thing I would like to see is that the computer can be wired or wifi (same network). This would save bandwidth do you think thats possible? For example TouchOSC doesn't care if wired or wifi or iTeleport.

Not sure if I understood what you mean but you should be already able to connect Mac to router wirelessly (wifi) or via network cable (wired). Are you saying cable-connection does not work if you disable wifi from your Mac? -

I have just tested EpoCam HD in rehearsals and performances on an ad-hoc network. Works well. However, on an iphone (any smartphone?) you need to take out the SIM card, otherwise EpoCam looses the network connection when you receive a phone call.

You are right, the last time I checked it (quite a while ago) it did not work. And the message "disconnected from wireless network" maked me think it is still the same. But it does work.
