Just in case there's any confusion about how this should work:

The Matrox should show up as one big display.The displays attached to the TripleHead2Go will not show up in your computer's display setup as separate displays.The way these devices work is by tricking your computer into thinking it's one big display, then in programs like Isadora you can send specific content to the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd third of that big screen (each third being a different display that's plugged into one of the TripleHead2Go's outputs).The Matrox devices prefer that you connect identical displays to their outputs. Using displays that have different refresh rates, aspect ratios, and resolutions may not work.

I'm not saying that that's the problem anyone here is experiencing, but in case anyone who doesn't know this information reads this thread, I thought it might be helpful to state these things.

Just a precision, I tried with Isadora on MacOs, it works but the serial port name is (on my machine):

"/dev/cu.usbserial-FT4TIETZ"

And you need also to use Python 3 (not the MacOs installed one) for library name reason.

I am trying now to use it on Raspberry, I will give you news.

One of the things you really need to consider is minimizing the difference in physical location between of the camera lens and the projector lens to minimize the amount you’ll need to tweak the mask you'll get from the IR camera. For this, I’ve had the best results slapping a Kinect right on top of a projector, but for that to work, the Kinect and the projector need to both be within a few meters of the performer(s), so the equipment basically needs to sit onstage. 

The Kinect makes a great mask for this purpose when you use the openni plugin and set it to not show skeleton, hide background, and be in “ghost” mode. (The relevant inputs are called “colorize bodies” and “show skeleton”. You can also turn the “skeleton tracking” input

As show above,you should be able to target a gpu in Windows Graphics Settings.

Additionally, once you have multiple cards installed from nVidia, there should be additional options in the nVidia control panel. Unfortunately, I have dismantled my multi-card machine.. so I can't point you any more specifically.

@dillthekraut We have used the Black Magic Designs capture/playback SDk to integrate directly with their hardware. My understanding is that it is meant to both simplify the process of working with BMD devices and offer some speed advantages. https://www.blackmagicdesign.c... 
I don't have any specific speed tests that I can reference. BlackMagicDesign is the only vendor-specific hardware driver currently supported in Isadora, so it is "special' ;) all others are supported via the OS media interfaces.

NDI is inherently CPU-hungry. If you can get the video feeds in via an HDMI or SDI capture device you probably won't see such a high load.

Hi, I am using a Mac Studio (the small of thd 2 standard versions). And just like other people with M1 Macs, its doing everything very smooth:) For me it was the best quality for the least amount of money that was easily accessible time wise, and with plenty of space to plug in whatever needed. I have bought a portable monitor that doesnt take up much space, so I can have everything in a normal size 28L backpack... I have only so far been running it with 2 projectors. 

Running multiple video surfaces on 3d objects moving is no problem. I use different kinds of live input, and so fare it us running well:) My boundary for what I imagine combining and layering in Isadora has moved to a new dimension:) When I think I am pushing it, there is no sign so farof that reality:

As yet Isadora does not support this. Gigevision cameras are great, but they are not widely supported by systems like Isadora. Supposedly TD has support for this, I didnt check though.

Here's my setup:

MacPro 5,1
12 core, 128 GB ram
OS 10.13.6
GPU: nVidia Geforce GTX Titan X

Webcam: Microsoft LiveCam Studio HD USB cam. Has worked very well as a live video source in Isadora 2.6.1

I'm measuring CPU usage with iStat Menus, screen shots included.

I should mention that I forgot a detail regarding Live Capture in 3.2.6 on my system: with a new file, when I first click "Start Live Capture" in the settings window, the webcam image *does not* appear in either the Preview or Channel 1 mini preview at the bottom of the Live Capture Settings window. The audio connection shows up in the Channel 1 mini preview, but no video. And the CPU usage does not go up at all. Only after toggling "Force JPEG Capture" a couple times will the video capture start and then of course CPU load goes up. This has never happened in previous versions.

And related, when I leave "Force JPEG Capture" on, the CPU usage goes down significantly to somewhere around 160%. Turning "Force JPEG Capture" off again shoots the CPU usage back up to at least 600%.

"Force JPEG Capture" appears to have the opposite effect in Isadora 2.6.1: with "Force JPEG Capture" off, CPU usage sits around 90-100%. When "Force JPEG Capture" is turned on, CPU usage just about doubles to around 200%.

update: I was mistaken as the projector was set to overscan already. I read elsewhere that some Blackmagic devices disable it, but haven't checked it.

similar to what @Ran mentioned, Master Cue by Interspace Ind. is industries standard for professional presentations on huge events. They work reliably even in big locations, with very big audience, as they communicate by proprietary radio.

@CitizenJoe I know you have experience making multiple graphics cards work together, and have had success using these configurations. Please feel free to share your knowledge about these configurations. In no way do I want to limit the sharing of techniques here :)

I have also had success with these configs, having had 3 cards working well in one machine running Isadora. In my case, I had 1 decent GTX card as my Isadora card, and 2 very inexpensive cards (all nVidia) connected for additional outputs. This config was good in that I had many physical outputs all seen as displays by the system. Only the GTX GPU was used for processing. For output, the texture was pulled back and passed to the cheap cards (that's why the cheap cards were great).
The downsides:
- a lot of overhead pulling the textures down and passing them to the other cards (very much like the BlackMagic option) this allowed decent framerates as long as I wasn't doing much processing.. it dropped fast when doing anything more than playback (this was running on an older machine as well).
- mostly untested, and not supported.
