you could add a HDMI switch into the mix before the splitter(s) - these are cheap and readily available - I bought one from a supermarket when I needed to solve the problem of 2 laptops into one projector.

I think jfg has nailed it for me.

The Trigger Text actor seems to be what I seek.

I have been overthinking this. I, effectively, juat need a placeholder that allow me to have a one button entry for a set time which enables the streamdeck usage.

My custom timer has a countdown that works like a traffic light in terms of the colour warnings. I do a lot of death by powerpoint and I am looking to use the timer as a notification to the presenters.

By using the trigger text actor, I can set the placeholder for the time on the screen. This time may change from presenter to presenter and I am just looking to automate this via a streamdeck. Not all around me are familiar with Isadora (give it time!) etc. Previous to this, I was just editing the various sections on the patch. I now have other people coming into the workplace and this will allow me to populate the streamdeck with standard times, start, stop etc in the streamdeck.

I was confusing the issue with TC but JFG's suggestion got me thinking ref the trigger text. I have two items I wish to achieve, a placeholder and a countdown timer. I was looking at this process as one action rather than two actions if actually is.

I had a quick try out and in a rough manner it works.

Bumping this thread - does anybody have some new ideas for a Slit Scan shader? or should we put in a feature request for a more flexible Slit Scan actor? (inputs for width of slit and speed would be nice, horizontal and vertical offset might be interesting)

My input is 3000px by 1080px In IzzyMap, 

I move my rect to the far left and select each right side corner, and enter 1920 (this creates my 1920x1080 output selection) 

I right click the Rect slice, and publish the Offset X 

Then on the Projector, I can move my view from the left edge to the right edge. (-1 thru 1)

I'm currently working on a project using Rokoko and Isadora, and I wanted to try the tutorials from Guru Session #19. However, every time I try to open the tutorial file provided Isadora crashes. I don't know if this is because the files aren't compatible with my version of Isadora, or if it's because I don't currently have an Isadora license. I'm really hoping to work with a 3D puppet. Does anyone have any idea as to why this might be happening? Or any other way I could achieve the same results?  Any help is appreciated.

I would also suggest going the GLSL Shader route. LLMs can do pretty well if you feed them the contents of Tutorial 3 here and the guts of one of the existing TT GLSL shaders as an example, so that they can understand the formatting requirements.

 The alternative I would suggest is not to break something like this into multiple Scenes. With a Sequential Trigger actor used to start your cues in sequence, it's easy to do what you're describing in a single Scene.

 Generally, you just need to kill the task in Task Manager, and restart.
This can happen occasionally if you have other software that conflicts in some way. Very difficult to know what software that might be, perhaps something else creating openGL contexts.

If you can not upgrade, the only solution I know of is to remove/uninstall Nahimic cleanly.

I just tested the latency of a Blackmagic Design Ultrastudio Mini 4K and it was 100ms (6 frames). This was using HDMI 2160p60.

I like to use Companion to send commands, like shutter, to any projector. I then trigger Companion from Izzy. It makes swapping out different brands of projectors a lot easier. I also find if Companion can't control something its not meant to be controlled at all.

It'd just be a stream from an IP Camera on the local network, so I think the OBS / NDI solution will work fine for my needs. 
I'm sure you have better things to do with your time :-)
