I tried it but the EQ didn't take effect, it seems that works with the audio input of the system, in my case a Midas M32 mixer, but I need to EQ the audio output of the source, video and/or audio.

Also I tried using the Loopback App, that allows to route the audio from your apps and sources to different outputs, but It didn't work.

Trying to get eyes ++ to connect to live drawing so bounding box tracking will make a drawing when following the movement from a camera.

Here's screenshots of what I have tried to do to connect the two but have had no luck any help is useful thank you

@catfer Does the Windows Kinect Studio not do this? It has basic edit features I think. I can't check at the moment though sorry.

Actualy, this isn't really that simple to answer, as there are many factors, which would influence the possibilities.

USB 3.1 Gen1 does 5Gb/s data throughput theoretically. But in reality it is a bit less, because of the overhead. Anyway, this should be enough in almost all cases for a small to mid complex show. But still, there are more things to consider. Most USB drive doesn't offer the possible speeds which could be possible with the USB mode they propagate to support. Often it is much less then that. Even if they offer faster speeds for USB 3.2 (10Gb/s), they might be much slower in USB 3.1 mode. You need to look for tests, to see the real speeds of the devices. Then, some drives get hot quick on heavy load and then throttle their speed after a short while. Again something which could be taught by a test.
But I mean, in general with most USB drives you can copy your content much faster, then playing it back in real time, right? There shouldn't be no big difference between those data transitions. But copying/ streaming multiple files in parallel,

depending on the controller quality of the drive, the actual speed could be much less, as the management of multiple parallel data streams reduces the actual throughput alot and sometimes more then 50%.

Last but not least, the codec and therefor the resulting bitrate of the videos define, what drive speeds you'd need.
You can kind of calculate what minimum of data speed on read mode you'd need, by multiplying the videos bitrate with the number of videos you going to play in parallel. It might be good to add at least 50% overhead.

A ProRes 422 would go with around 150 Mbit/s on FullHD. On real world USB 3.1 Gen 1 speeds this would mean you theoretically could play 30 streams of it in parallel.

A ProPres 4K 4444 does around 750Mbit/s, which would still be up to 6 streams, just looking at the possible USB 3.1 speeds.

The fastest USB 3.1 drive I could find on a quick look, does 400 MB/s (3200 Mbit/s) sequential read (which means 1 long continuous reading like in video streaming instead of a lot of little file chunks which adds overhead). Which would still be enough for 3 to 4 HQ 4K streams.

But one more thing is a nono for me: USB often isn't very reliable connection wise. There always is the risk of an unconnect in mid show. I would not risk it, if not really needed.

Hello, does anyone have.oni recordings with multiple people? I've been testing tracking with one body using the files from the image below but would like to use files with multiple bodies. any leads? Thanks

Hi,  I am using the depth camera for skeleton tracking. the silhouettes output have a very low res outline. 

I've applied a Blur effect to avoid the pixelation but then the body shapes start to get lost. 

what do you suggest to make their outline look sharper? thanks in advance

You may want to try DISM and SFC. These tools can fix corrupt system files and have helped other users in the past.

I worked up the math based on the measurements of the screen and then used the vertical projection resolution of 1200p to determine the width in pixels. After that, building a new blend master worked *very* well.

However, I had to tweak the projector "actors" so that the images & movies that weren't at that aspect (roughly 11:4) would look good. I used the zoom property to bring them to the correct width, then decreased the height factor to fit the screen.

After a bit of wrestling with the control grid to align the two projections, I was able to do a fairly good job with the blend.

Thanks. I'd not discovered the Comparitor actor, I'll have a play with that, I can see this being useful for me moving forward. I've managed to get the right effect by limiting min and max values in the Control Watcher value parameters (0-8) then putting it out through a value changed actor with a min change of 5 and through toggle to switch effect bypass on and off when knob passes 8. Seems to work consistently.

It is high on our list of things to work on next; Isadora 4.x released, and IzzyCast allowing us to spent time on other plans.

Audio is really high on the list.

This seemed like an interesting project to tackle... so I made a demo file using a different approach.
I created a feedback loop into a Matte++ actor using a freeze actor. I think this approach is very flexible. Currently it has a random shape from a shapes actor as the 'brush' but you can use any image (alpha around will help :)
I might expand this a bit and make it a new User Actor offering on the Add-Ons page, what do you think?

I made a tool for Touch OSC that controls the Global Keystone actor, so you can use your phone to twiddle the corners of your displays while standing in front of them, rather than from a computer some distance away. I was a bit fed up with running back and forth, so I made this.

The tool consists of a TouchOSC file, and an Isadora User Actor, download below.
The TouchOSC file was made using the original, free, version of TouchOSC.
The tool has all the functions of the Global Keystone actor.
(One annoyance is that when you reset any of the corners, the sliders on the phone don't reset to the central position. Perhaps with the paid-for version one could do that, but I'm too skint at the mo' to fork out for that.)

Here are the files to download if you want to give it a go:

This contains the TouchOSC layout file, the Global Keystone Touch OSC user actor, an Isadora 4 example file, and a screenshot of the user interface.

If you're new to TouchOSC you need to download the app on to your phone (the original, Mk1 free version) and download the TouchOSC Editor MK1 software from the Hexler Website.
Make sure your phone and computer are on the same network.
Open TouchOSC on your phone and check that in the connections tab you've entered the IP address of the computer you'll be running the Editor software from (you can find this at the bottom of the Isadora preferences window).
On your computer run the Touch OSC Editor software, open the file Global Keystone Isadora.touchosc which is in the attached .zip file.
Press the Sync button on the software.
In the TouchOSC phone app, click the 'layout' button and click 'add'
Click the name of your computer in the list of Found Hosts
The layout 'Global Keystone Isadora" should be added to your layouts. Make sure this is ticked.
Click TouchOSC and Done at the top of the app and the user interface (pic below) should appear.

If you're new to OSC in Isadora, what I've been doing to get this going is to:
Open stream setup (CTRL+9)
Making sure auto-detect input is turned on
Push all the buttons on the TouchOSC interface. You should get 19 streams appearing in the Stream Settings Window.
Click Sort List button, then Renumber Ports button, and you should get this below, where the channel numbers correspond to the Stream Address:
NB if you already have things in the OSC stream then the numbering might not start at Chan 1.

Now in Isadora go to Actor / Place User Actor/Macro and navigate to where you unzipped the file.

If your OSC numbering did not start at 1, in the user actor there is an input called 'base chan'. Set this to the first Channel Number that corresponds to Stream Address /01/Global

Now, explore....

If nothing is happening or you can't get the stream setup to work, check the OSC settings again. But if you could sync your phone and computer it should be right...
Check that Isadora is receiving an OSC signal. When you press a button on the Phone app a little green light should light up top right of the app.
Isadora should also show a little arrow next to the word OSC at the bottom left of the Isadora interface when you press a button.
If this is not happening then the OSC connection isn't working. Go back and check the connections and the stream setup.

Here's what the interface looks like. Clearly I have a great future as a UX designer.
The sliders are TLV = top-left vertical, TLH = top-left horizontal etc etc.
I only made it for four displays, 'cause that's how many I was running.
You can reset each corner individually, or do a global reset by pressing the corresponding buttons.

I understand it's a fairly old piece of tech, but is there any way to make it work again with Isadora?

I see it has a new software and it seems to work fine there, but in Isadora the actor shows as off. 

I saw that an old install could do the trick but I wasn't able to track a source to download the old version of the leap software.

Btw, I'm running Isadora 3.2.6 and Windows 11.

@dusx I just tested the Actor in the demo - it did not crash instantly, but after aprox. 10 triggers the Program crashed. This time it did not show that HASP Error, instead it generated a crash report that i submited. unfortunatly that did delete the crash-log from AppData so i was not able to read it first?
