@jmparada hi, the answer is already embedded in the question. Have a look at the ‘activate scene’ actor. Don’t have time now to expand on the subject, I believe there’s a tutorial on it as well. Hope this gets you going
Hi,
If you stop the video playback by triggering '0' at the 'speed' parameter of the Movie Player, you can start it by triggering a '1'. You can start and stop the video along its track using the 'speed' input (like a pause button).
Using a series of 'Trigger Value' actors, you can create switches between different videos and Movie Players—in effect, hiding the 'paused' video until you want it active again. A secondary Movie Player can trigger at the output 'loop end' to unpause the primary Movie Player.

Isadora Newbie here with a quesion. I have an 8-minute video loop that I want to play constantly. I also have 4 smaller (shorter) videos (Actors) that will be activated with keystrokes. My question is how do I get the video to go back to the original 8-minute video loop, but not as restart but rather go back to the loop as soon as the shorter actor finishes? Any help would be appreciated.
Just now I just installed the EpocCam 3.4 drivers on my Macbook pro i7 running on Catalina, and apparently the transmission works well because Isadora receives it very well, you just have to select the EpocCam instead of ElGato Virtual in the Live Capture Settings Camera. However, the Camera HUB application does not appear, so the camera cannot be controlled remotely.
Even the app's filters can be selected from the iPhone without problems.
Hello, I found the same problem on a 2019 Intel i7 iMac also in Sonoma. It is a production that I have just premiered in a municipal theater. I did all the programming on my Mac mini M2 pro, but this problem occurs only on the iMac in the theater. For the moment and to be able to control all the camera functions from the computer using the Camera HUB app, I decided to use the Screen Capture actor from Isadora, enabling the window CPU mode.
This week we are going to try to adjust all the programming so that it is carried out from the new Macbook Pro M3 that they have to control the theater lighting, although this way it will only be the lighting operator who will have to control the entire show from Isadora.
I've noticed this when screen resolutions between machines are different (on Windows).
Cheers,
Hugh
I have a not very complicated patch and I have noticed the following: When all actors in the patch are visible I have a load of 4 to 6 % but when I make the window smaller and the projector actors are no longer visible it increases to 10-15 %. The same if I put the whole patch in a macro and close the macro.
is it normal? and if yes why?
thanks a lot
Jean-François
Currently it’s been all Mac. All different size monitors.
If I use the Isadora zoom in zoom out magnifying tool the problem doesn’t change.
And not just this build, and I don’t always use the text actor.
