MacBook Pro 2018 Video Output Issue
-
When connecting a Macbook Pro to an FX4 or TVone style distro box it works fine. For those who aren’t familiar these are boxes that work very similarly to a TripleHead but the arrangement can be modified and you can chain them.
I’ve found that plugging one of these devices work fine, but after a reboot or a reseat, I lose connection and have been told this has something to do with HDCP. Further, I’ve found that plugging in multiple boxes to a single macbook causes the second box to constantly flash. This doesn’t occur on a trashcan though so I’m wondering if there’s something crazy happening with the firmware or video card.
I’m sending out two channels of 4k each. Any ideas on what the problem is? I suspect this will be a problem in the future if I want to plug multiple projectors in natively.

Do you experience this issue with other software, or just Isadora? If this issue is present even without Isadora in the mix then the issue has something to do with your specific setup and I'm not quite sure what to tell you...
Also, how many displays are you looking to drive total?
Does anyone around have a similar or identical hardware that could try to reproduce this issue?
Best wishes,
Woland
