Sorry, I have the thunderbolt version. I'd suggest you plug it into your computer, install the software, and see what happens :-)

Which Software? I am unsure what to install because I havent seen a list of supported products

Suggest you ask on the Blackmagic Forum here, or search through the posts

My recollection of the USB Shuttle was that it was *very* fussy about compatibility with USB chipsets.I think you may be flogging a dead horse and would do better just spending the money on something more modern.

Thank you mark. That is actually the kind of feedback that I am in need of. I think I will try to get rid of it...

The Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt version works in Windows 10 with a This adapter: Startech TB3 -> TB2 adapter on the NUC in my signature (first computer listed). I can’t remember if it works with the Apple adapter also. Am not in the studio so can’t tell you what version of the Blackmagic software I am running but I’ll check.
It does not work in Windows 11 in the PC Specialist machine in my sig, which has a Thunderbolt 4 connection. Windows doesn’t even see it.
I have several Thunderbolt 2 devices which work with computers with TB3 but not computers with Thunderbolt TB4. I haven’t got anything with TB5 to try with!

I'm pretty sure I had my Intensity Shuttle USB working on my Win 11 machine. I'll connect it up again to check.

I just connected the output from my Mac Mini to the HDMI input of the USB BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle, connected to my Windows 11 machine.
I opened BlackMagic Media Express, to find the correct video format. In my case it is 1080p30. I closed Media Express, opened Isadora 4 and setup live capture with the blackmagic drivers, and the correct input format, hit start live capture, and everything worked as expected. So it seems with the current BlackMagic software installed. It is working with Isadora 4 as expected.
