Not able to help you as programmer - but would be very interested in seeing the system you are developing for managing the audience as a means of triggering  a (presumably?) coherent musical event. I have worked with collaborators on a couple of pieces that were audience initiated with multiple audience members ...  and am working with some students who are attempting to do something similar (none using Isadora). Installation artist Don Ritter is looking for three dancers or dance students to assist in the development of a new installation involving motion. The dancers will improvise in a large video environment with sensors that convert their motions into 3D projected characters. The dancers’ participation is for testing the installation and not for a final performance. Payment is $13 per hour with flexible hours.

I worked with him as a video designer on operas for five years, mainly at MET Opera. Lepage has a crew around him with great talented people. It's always a work in progress until last minute and pushing the boundaries. It was a great artistic and human experience.

I am currently designing projections for a play that goes up on January 25th in NYC. I am looking or an operator who can attend the tech rehearsal the morning of the show, help with set up and tech  and assist with cues during the performance. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain more experience and network in the theater world. Must be available for a 1pm tech rehearsal on the 25th and a 7:30pm show. yeah, I've been part of Lumo for the last 3 years. the money is not much, but its a nice festival. they estimate we got 150,000 visitors last November, over 3 evenings. (it wasn't snowy, which helped) Its the busiest I've ever seen Oulu town centre.

There's always more to learn, and even when you know the material observing another teacher is a great way to learn new ways to teach.

If I could I'd take @mc_monte 's Isadora 101 course at the Werkstatt to improve my own teaching skills.

 This workshop is now well underway with @ppp586 and I running it for 45 students. IZZ3 is brilliant and once again I am overwhelmed at how great this platform is for artists, students and pretty much anyone wanting to do this stuff we all undertake. Bravo to Mark and the team.

I am, or at least was an isadora power user years ago and have a vey large and complex patch designed in Isa 1 that I want to update and fix bugs. I have been away from the software and the scene for years now and just need someone aware of all the troubles with migrating old patches from Isa 1 to Isa 2. It could use some optimizing as well as I optimized with techniques that are no longer "optimal" :)

You will need to submit a support ticket making the request to join the OPenNi beta testing program. I am assuming that you have a Isadora 3 license because it will only work if you have that?

Bonemap (www.bonemap.com) are seeking expression of interest (EoI) from potential suitable collaborators for 'SPINE' a two-week creative development residency at the Tanks Arts Centre, Cairns, Queensland Australia during the 31 May - 13 June 2020. The creative research is underpinned by the theory of Environmental Aesthetics, a philosophical approach that unpacks the relationship of human awareness towards spatial environments through the sublime.

SPINE will be a new, media and performance work that incorporates contemporary dance and innovative scenography based on extending the potential of Isadora software in a non-traditional performance setting. We intend to create a new developmental work for presentation to Australian audiences at the Tanks Arts Centre at the culmination of the creative development period, mid June 2020.

The theme of the new project is to be based on a journey of experiences. Imaginative representations of iconic coral reefs and tropical rainforest that speaks to forest health and ocean conservation worldwide.

Accommodation can be made available on site at the Cairns Botanical Gardens residency house. A trip to the iconic Fitzroy Island, Great Barrier Reef is included. Travel expenses to Cairns, Australia are not provided as part of the package. However, arrangements can be negotiated for the right person (if you are a hot candidate we will see what we can do).
