I just wanted to give an update on this project, as there were numerous Isadora users who contributed.  Public response has been overwhelming; I have an ever growing list of neighborhood requests.  I'm still trying to figure out the best way to structure this going forward, but I'm definitely going to continue this project.  I've now purchased a high power quiet generator to attach to the cargo hitch of an old Jeep Cherokee I picked up, which means I can now double up the Eiki's with wide throw lenses (or even my Barco r18, if I can ever find a cheap replacement lamp housing).  Below are some photos of the rig in action, as well as some links to press we've gotten.  You can find all the info about the project at Projection Connections

I know that I'm late to the party (I was working like mad on the Isadora 3.1 release) but, outside my TroikaTronix work hours, I freelance as a technical design consultant for hardware and software solutions, teach private Isadora workshops online, and work a show programmer. Just FYI :)

I'm a choreographer and cognitive neuroscientist in NYC. My dance company, Bodies Never Lie, is in partnership with Columbia University working on a live/digital dance production exploring artificial intelligence. I'm hoping to connect through this forum with artists interested in collaborating on the digital aspect of the performance which is set for March. Some details of the project: 

An Artificial Intelligence Nutcracker, 'iNut', is a modernized take on the classic story of the Nutcracker. Fusing diverse dance styles with technology, the work brings together top artists from New York City, neuroscientists, and engineers from around the world. Live dancing pairs with digital projections and tools investigating real-life impact of AI technology through the narrative of the Nutcracker. Using the classic Tchaikovsky score, the work utilizes beautification filters, dating apps, and self-driving cars to explore the benefits and pitfalls of a simulated reality.  Through comedy, technology, and dance, INut will ask the audience if an app-free life is good enough.

I am posting here because I am not sure Troikatronix want some talk about izzycast out of this hidden forum branch, but I am looking for people that to hire in the Montreal area in Quebec to conduct a series of izzycast workshop and teach with me in various occasions that we are setting up with different partners. It is not a 9-5 job but there are organizing already several occasions of work for the candidate to work with us on Isadora and especially Izzycast. The ideal situation is a person living in Montreal. Although work will begin on Izzycast it would be better to have a person locally because a part of the work is serving the live art community here through information sessions and teaching. So most of the initial work will be done between 2 places in Montreal.

Speaking French is not an obligation, but it would be appreciated. You can write to me personally if interested.
