Esta serie de videos tutoriales pretenden acercarlos al mundo del software Isadora. Para el primer tutorial nos pareció mejor comenzar por mostrarles algunas de las muchas posibilidades que nos brinda este programa respecto de la creación de visuales en tiempo real. Este video fue hecho íntegramente con Isadora, sin cortes ni proceso de edición.

Los tutoriales 2 y 3 abordan las configuraciones básicas, la interfaz gráfica y los actores

@crystalhorizon I take this opportunity to tell you that here in Buenos Aires we have been making meetings every fifteen days, throughout 2017, as a production technology laboratory for the scene. Something similar to your meeting in Vienna but with greater continuity. The participants are all the students of the workshops of Isadora that we made during this year and want to continue developing artistic projects under our guide. On December 2, the works will be shown as a closing of the Laboratory.

I am doing an Isadora introduction course on Friday the 6th April at Backstage Academy in the UK.

I am qualified university lecturer and the only official pro user (and staff member) of Isadora in the UK. I have been teaching Isadora for over 10 years (wow I feel old, I'm 32 is that old?).

The short course is ideal for those who have never used Isadora before OR, if you have but don't fully understand it yet. 

I will be showing you a little bit of everything; enough to get you started on your own projects and develop them further. I also allow time for experimentation so you can explore the software for a while before moving on to the next step(s).

El taller no tiene un programa fijo, sino que los contenidos se adaptan al desarrollo de los proyectos y a las necesidades de los asistentes.

El estudio de la programación consiste en la realización de trabajos prácticos orientados a la realización de los proyectos que surjan en el taller o que propongan los asistentes, que pueden ser individuales o grupales

Oulu Dance Hack 18 > BODY INTERFACE > An introduction to the process of creating with dance and technology

Applications are now open for participants for ODH18. Places are available for dancers, choreographers, performance artists, circus artists, technology specialists, musicians, stage designers, media artists, directors, in fact: anyone who is interested in learning about how technology can enhance performance and performance can enhance technology.

ODH18>BODY INTERFACE will take place in Oulu, Northern Finland, from 22-24 August 2018, with an optional workshop day (an introduction to creating interactive systems with Isadora) for participating artists on Tuesday 21st, and potential for extra performances in the evening of 24th (tbc).

ODH is a creative space where artists come together to explore the relationship between movement and technology. The process is supported with a range of equipment and mentoring. It takes place in the well-equipped dance studios of Oulu University of Applied Sciences and involves a group of students from the dance and media departments. 

The Oulu Dance Hack is free to attend, but places are limited. Previously ODH participants have travelled from USA, UK, Canada, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Hungary and Finland. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

@bonemap Never had any issues with content delivery except time to load (300 devices at the same time take some time), and storage capacity on Androids, which tend to not have enough GB, as opposed to apple devices.

 I literally just got my first tablet in the mail last week so I'm still taking my first steps as it were. I seem to have the same behavior as @mark_m in terms of the Stage Mouse Watcher, though I can only get the two buttons on my pen to show up in under HID.
