I see your issue

It is a good idea to reset the projectors internal geometry settings to clear the geometry settings from a previous setup ie. quick corner settings or other user defined settings will project a different bounds area to the projectors built n test patterns.

The tools require a small module be installed, but the project also includes the latest version of my Easy Python Setup Tool, which will build the require virtual environment for you in a minute.

These tools let you open applications 'hidden' so that the UI/Stage Outputs are not blocked, allowing you to work send/receive Spout/Syphon and/or OSC if the apps offer such things.

A use case I personally have used this approach for is launching my Kinect2Share application allowing my full native access to my Microsoft Kinect on windows.

I stopped using Isadora partly because of this unavailable option that I use in every project. I regularly check to see if the blur handling in mapping has been improved. And the years go by, and I'm surprised every time that it hasn't been implemented. It's sad; I love this software.

We brought this up at last week’s Thursday tech meeting and as of last Friday we have a beta build that contains a fix for it, so it’ll definitely be fixed for the next public release.

I swear sometimes posts on this forum are hidden from me because I check every day and never saw this until now. I don’t know what’s up with that…

Anyway, if you’re on Windows I’d suggest using ShutterEncoder and converting all your files to hap.avi. Sometimes video files can be exported with strange settings that Isadora doesn’t like (for example, embedded timecode tracks have been known to cause playback issues).

We no longer sell Isadora 3 Licenses, but all the license types we currently sell (rental, subscription, perpetual, USB) can be used for both Isadora 4 and Isadora 3. While an external drive will be fine for prototyping and editing while traveling, we would always suggest running a show with all the files on the internal drive of a computer as it will allow for the best performance (eliminating the problem of transfer/read/write speed bottlenecks that can occur when using media from an external drive for a live show). That being said, you may be fine and experience zero issues using an external drive for the actual performance itself, we just recommend using the internal drive when actually running the show.

This is not fully possible to answer without more information like:

Do you use the Get Stage Size actor to automatically set the resolution of anything in your patch?Did you manually set any actors (like Shapes or GLSL) to use a specific resolution?Does the triple display show up as one triple-wide display or three separate displays?Is each third of your triple display the same resolution and aspect ratio as each beamer you're using?

Anonymous Ensemble seeks an experienced Isadora programmer/operator for our technical rehearsals and run of Anonymous Ensemble's Llontop at Pregones Theater in the Bronx for the first few weeks of January. The job would entail working with technologist Adrian Cameron to help run the interactive installation portion of the show. The job also entails operating a live feed camera during the performance portion of the show (do not need to be expert). The commitment is January 5-18 as well as some paid prep work in December. Bonus for experience with AWS cloud computing, Zoom broadcasting, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate would be somewhat bilingual Spanish/English. Well, you couldn't have because you didn't know it was a pixel limit and not a Scene Limit ;)

This issue is one that really annoys me personally, so once we have this next release out the door, I'll see what I can do about pestering one of the programmers to get this bug fixed.
