there are many ways to do this. a simple way to adapt your current patch would be to use Trigger Value actors instead of your Toggle/Envelope Generator.

Connect the True output of your Comparator to a Trigger Value of 100 - connected to the Intensity of the Projector. Add a Trigger Value of zero connected in the same way to the False output.

Remember to Intialize the Intensity at zero, so that when you enter the scene, the visual effect is not shown until the Comparator recognises a value of 1 or higher.

I think the problem you are experiencing with the Envelope being triggered at the wrong time is because you are using the Toggle actor in an unconventional way.

Eight years is a long time - so some incompatibility would be expected. I assume that some of the video codecs of your older files are no longer supported - this article might assist.

Fading between scenes can be problematic with some video codecs and with 3D Actors.

Hi all, thanks for the replies, unfortunately I can't update often as I only have access to the computer on show days, and have limited time to troubleshoot.

I did some more tests after updating drivers for the Declink to latest version, with no change on image quality on Isadora. I later checked on Blackmagic Media Express and quality was OK, as expected.

Source looks good on any software I use, problem only appears on Isadora while importing via Decklink, no matter the resolution, frame rate, interlaced or progressive scan, or device used as source. When capturing the same signal into Isadora via a HDMI to USB device (tested with an ATEM Mini Pro and a Roland V-02HD Mk2) image looks ok, unfortunately due to production requirements I'm forced to use the Decklink, so no luck there.

I'm at a loss here, only things I can think of is to update video drivers, which I will do next time I have access to the computer, and to enable/disable hardware acceleration; if that doesn't work I don't know what else to try.

@eva the Mac Studio should be able to handle this easily. This sounds like an issue with the machine or a driver. I would test this setup in another software (try obs) and another computer. There is more than enough power and bandwidth on this machine. 

As for the newer 360 camera it will say clearly on the specs page.

I bought a BirdDog Play yesterday an like to do a small show on Saturday with it - i don't like to invest money into mitti ;-)

You will want to watch your incoming serial data in the Monitor window to see how this output matches with the input.

Have you tried my DMX input user actor (32 channels)?
You can get it here: TROIKATRONIX : ISADORA - DX – DMX 32 Channel Receiver – Enttec Compatible

It connects and works much like the DMX out actor. Instructions are on the download page.

First off -> signature updated. Thanks for the reminder!

Second, thanks for the help and information -> we did verify all configuration was unchanged between I3 and I4. I managed to solve it yesterday after checking Windows Firewall settings. During the upgrade, they had gotten messed up and weren't allowing any incoming data on private networks. After enabling data transmission, OSC resumed complete functionality. Apologies for the raised issue!
