      Just to make this clear for everyone interested in this. The Projector offers DMX connection via XLR connectors and cables. This is helpfull to integrate all the functionality to an already existing light controlling desk.

      But beside that, the projector offers ArtNet over the usual ethernet connection, which should exist in most cases anyway for easier configuration.

      This is as well the case for others brands 'bigger' projectors, like epson or panasonic. But most of them do not offer the classic DMX via XLR.

      Dear all

      Thank you for your help an input. With OSC, it was pritty easy to solve. I used a python OSC library (https://pypi.org/project/pytho...) and it works very easy on the python as well as on the isadora side. Problem solved.

      Thank you for your help.

      Hi,

      PTZ cameras are one device option to look at. I am thinking perhaps the proliferation of gimbals is another - somewhat related device - that can be considered for Izzy plugin development. I have a DJI Ronin M and a Ronin S gimbal and just a quick comparison of cost suggest these possibly  provide good value and flexibility compared to the PTZ camera lineup - admittedly they are a BYO camera option. The PTZ cameras appears to have some shared protocol, but the diversity of gimbal makes and models are likely all proprietary. Still I would definitely use an Isadora Plugin that implemented gimbal control as an alternative to acquiring a PTZ camera. Specifically because the gimbal allows any number of camera types to be mounted and offer comparable functionality to PTZ.

      Just a thought.

      Best wishes

      Russell

      @juriaan

      I was just testing and playing around on the patch you sent me. I copied and pasted the actor in the patch.

      @jhoepffner

      They had DHCP on so had the same subnet and ip class on the same network.
      I will be testing it again later today to see if it was something stupid on my side.

      Thanks

      Andy

      @barneybroomer

      Yes it appears the software download link is no longer easily accessible through the internet. Here is a copy of the LCEdit software package 3.4.5 March 2012 - the last update I downloaded and the last update of the software by Lanbox as far as I know.

      Are you sending OSC messages directly to the camera?

      You should check ip first, please try with computer + camera with static ips

      Then have a look in the user actors I posted, you should find some commands. Send me a private message if you want we can skype. I don't have the camera with me, so no way to test myself.
