I have been running all my effects and such in vid-gpu, and right before sending to the projectors.. using 'texture to video'

the vid-cpu stream can then be linked to different stage projectors. there is a cpu hit in converting texture to video..  but I have found that its much less that what I gain from the GPU pipeline in effect processing etc... I can maintain 30fps in my setups. It might be a solution for you. Just do as much with the GPU as possible.

I think, for many people, simply collecting the movies that are currently chosen in the media players would be a decent solution; that's because a lot of video designers for theater are not interactively choosing movies by changing the 'movie' input of the Movie Player, 'picture' input of the Picture Player, etc.. For those choosing clips interactively (especially, for instance, using a Random actor) there really isn't any way to be sure that all the necessary media would be included. I guess that, if any movie player has a link to the 'movie input', a warning would need to be generated indicating that the collected media may not include all of the required media. Just create a 3d plugin which display nothing with "glShadeModel(GL_FLAT);" in it  and put it in the same scene does it.

I would like to be able to minimize floating stage-windows when I use them as syphon outputs.

Bump of an old post, is it possible to do some kind of "tracking" of a folder with appelscript?
I.e. to get a media bin to remove a media when it's been deleted i Finder?

Would be fantastic.  Could be a stand-alone actor or could be integrated into Capture to Disk.

Would also be great to be able to capture snapshots that drop directly into media folder.  This could also integrate into a master Capture to Disk actor or be a stand alone. Thanks!

Well, I guess I'll maybe do it this way: when the file format changes (coming soon) I'll ensure all the "View" settings are stored with the file not in the Preferences. That way, the file will appear just the way you saved it. Probably that's the best thing to do, because if the creator of the file hid those things, then he or she should know what he or she is doing. Best Wishes, Mark

It is kind of pretty obvious, but now i understood it!

Right now there are some nice FFGL effects for blur offered by Resolume.... they work perfectly with Isadora.

Soon, native effects will be added :)

Currently there is no way of accomplishing this.

There are features on the roadmap that will help in future versions.

I have found that v4.1.11 plugins work for me.
Not sure at what version the issue arose.
