1) Open Isadora Preferences and click the Video tab
2) Check the box that says "Disable Vertical Sync"

I tested the file you PM'd me and I then tested a few other files that were encoded at the same time and in the same resoultion as the one causing me trouble and they all played fine. Perhaps it is just this single video that has something wrong with it.

Regardless, I will double check the HAP codec as you mention here and also try re-encoding the individual video that seems to be having this issue.

I was refering to isadora plugins.

I was using a 2 sub folders structure, that was the problem.

The follow happens, if you put a background in your scene, double click his name and select a color in the picker, the color will change, now press the cancel button and the color that you picked will stay the same.

Expected :

If I pick a color and press cancel it should go back to the color it was before I opended the Color picker.

@hairi I would not change the settings while isadora is using the outputs, do your configuration before you run isadora.

I was mostly thinking as a way to expand the users understanding. If the slider provides ascii chars, it may not be clear that they have the option for other uft-8 chars. 

They may not know the difference. Helping users understand the char sets may reduce confusion in the long term.

This is the sort of thing I can see adding to the help text once links can be included etc.

Unfortunately, Isadora is no longer officially supported on Windows 7 -- it now requires Windows 10.

thanks, this give me more of a starting point.
I had tested earlier today on a fresh win 10 machine but was unable to reproduce the issue. So the hint about a startup file might get me there.

I will open a support ticket now to ensure this moves ahead.

are there any OS updates available?.

There was an issue with font rendering being changed by Apple causing a draw slowdown that could be scene in the scene editor as you mention. Mark made some changes to address it and I belive an new high sierra update also helped.

I have also experienced this behaviour. A restart of Isadora solved it for me.
I have not yet found a way to reproduce it. In my case I was loading 'large' images and zooming/panning the viewport.

Are you images Stage size or larger (mega pixels ++)?
