I created this post just to summarize an important workaround for using the form at the moment.

Issue: Pressing "reply" fills the screen. One cannot type or post replies.

Workaround for Editor Window Filling Screen:

1) Hit "reply" button. 
2) Issue: Editor fills the frame, preventing posting and typing.
3) Hit the little red button with the "speech balloon" and three dots at the bottom right to hide the reply.
4) Scroll up to the first post.
5) Hit the red button at the bottom right again.
6) You should be able to successfully enter text, apply formatting, reply, etc.

Another Issue: The formatting options are not always showing up in the reply/post window, only white space, with the "Discard" and "Submit" buttons on the right

Workaround: If you and drag to select the very last line of the text in the reply, then continue to drag down "past" it, the editing options appear again if you "hit" the bottom of the screen.

Note: You may have to drag the black circle with the double-ended white arrow down, making the reply window narrow enough so that you can "hit" the bottom of your screen when dragging down.

for now i've used a workaround. Manually I found that for my screen size the screen edges are 28 and -28 then with a limit scale value I've correct em and now it works ( so the bias is linear and not curve)

You may need to check the output resolution on the matrox. A standard ratio resolution will send one image to the center, and nothin on the sides. 

I've used multiple matrox on macs and windows. 2h and 3h2go and there are limitations and combinations that don't work, usually the converter/adapter is the limiting factor.

yes, after a crash Isadora does not remember settings that did not go through a controlled application quit.

I feel like there is a preference towards control view, perhaps because it is the 'performance' view. 

For students I could see a set of icons for views being useful, rather than menu / keyboard options.

Has anyone else used emojis in unicode text before? Gave it a shot and they work fine on Sierra, exactly as you'd expect. On Windows 10, though, they show up as black & white line drawings in the the actor inputs & outputs and when using Text/ure, but aren't recognized at all by Text Draw. Is this even an bug (should I submit it?), or just something strange about Windows?

Thanks for the advice . I've deleted the izzy's prefs and It was still not working , but instead to use the wifi connection ,I used the ethernet port and it worked fine.

I'm trying to figure out how to capture my ipad's screen and send it to isadora via USB.

The thing I don't understand, is that it appears as a source in QuicktimePlayer X (I can record it) but in Isadora, no source is found..

Is this a bug ? A limitation ?

Fixed it. I trashed the preferences (on windows in the %AppData%/Roaming/TroikaTronix folder and everythings works as it should.
