I'm *about* to open this show, so I'm reticent to upgrade with the show already built. Plus, an earlier version of this show was crashing with 2.5.3, which is why I stepped back to 2.2.2. If you select "show preview" in the "live capture settings" window it shows the resolution you have set for the camera. If you choose a lower resolution the window will be smaller.

Try copying and pasting the text into notepad or similar. Then copy and paste from that. 

I've had to do this befote.

I had this bug throughout testing, and near the end it was fixed.

Please make sure you have the latest Artnet plugins, maybe you have a version back from release.

Also, ensure you don't have multiple copies (maybe in the common plugins, and the Isadora app plugins folders)

Now I noticed that I can drag or import an image with the "image" button, when I'm replying to a message. 

However, when posting a new topic, neither of these works – neither drag nor "image" button.

So, I'll try to make a new topic, and reply to it myself. Hopefully that works.

 You have a Macintosh license, and that only works on Macintosh computers. You can't use the same license to register on Windows. As @Skulpture said, open a support ticket. We allow you users to switch platforms, but only once to so as avoid a massive amount of support overhead on our part.

ok, clear! After 10 times you get used to it :) Or I put the projectors outside the user actors

When I capture a JPEG with the Capture stage to picture , the result is about ten percent brighter then the videostream. As a workaround I dim the brightness coming from the picture player about 10 percent. Any thoughts on this? I tested also with TIFF and PNG, same results.

I am new to Isadora and am having trouble with video playback. When a video is playing it will play one or twice through the video and then stop. Other actors will keep working - like wave generator. 

I am on a MacBook Pro (mid 2014) with 2.8 ghz Intel Core i5 with 16 GB of memory. Currently running OS 10.13.3

I have Isadora 2.5.1. 

I have tried using video clips saved in MPEG-4 and Apple ProRes 422. Certainly wondering if another format would be better. 

I am also having trouble when I "Pause Engine" it will often not allow me to "resume engine" nor quite the program and I have to "force quite" the application and restart. 

Any suggests would be most welcomed!

It's really important that you have vid-gpu for the entire chain. We've kept vid-cpu for legacy patches, but it shouldn't be used with high resolution video.

It get everything to use vid-gpu, you may need to disconnect the wires from the actors and reconnect them. In case you're not aware, many Isadora actor inputs/outputs are mutable, meaning they will adapt to the format of data passed to them.

Note that when this Zoomer actor is disconnected, it shows that the video inputs are mutable.

But once I connect a projector, the ports are no longer green indicating that they are not mutable any more. That's because, once you connect something, the format is chosen.

Anyway, glad that you sorted it out!

I noticed all the dialogs / warnings have changed with the latest windows update again.

Not sure how to deal with the defender issue, other than what you mention. I generally dont use defender, I find it affects my system performance.

I know @mark is investigating windows code signing.

i seem to have noticed that occasional <SPACE> characters that remain attached to a variable name after dbl-click select and copy, when pasted into the preprocessor code // ISADORA_FLOAT_PARAM(name, id, min, max, default, "help text"); do create the corresponding inputs , but they do not react unless you cancel the <SPACE> character in the preprocessor statement. 

took me an hour to figure, one night. 

the GLSL editor is kind of tricky, but i attribute this mainly to my italian keyboard. the character '[' freezes the editor until i re-compile.

the find and replace is not working as it should. 

this on Win 10 with 2.60 

wish to have more time for the forum.
