Performing a little bit of thread necromancy since I ran across this and wanted anyone who ran across it in the future to know that, as of Isadora 4, the Button Control has Control Properties for the color of the button in its on and off states:

The method of using a picture is still totally viable, and can be nicer if you want to include a fancier-looking button designed in Photoshop. Also, it's worth noting that you can use images that have alpha and the alpha will be transparent on the button in the Control Panel and you can make some pretty neat buttons that way.

The app I've used for this is either NDI HX Camera (direct NDI feed) or AirBeam Pro (Syphon via an app running on the computer)

Others that have been suggested to me but which I've never used:  TC Camera (NDI), Filmic Pro (NDI I think), EpocCam (Syphon I think), JustWifiCam,

Things have happened. Mark was responding to the request for renaming inputs/outputs on the JavaScript actor, which is now a feature (there’s a comment at the top of the default code explaining how to do it).

As for my list, I’m finding that making user actors and macros is an easy enough way to name inputs and outputs.

Hi all! I wanted to share the results of our hardware testing.

We found the problem is the Matrox Triple head to go DP on Mac MIni M4 Sequoia. No video outputs to the projector. Changing the refresch freq with no results

Positive tests:

- Matrox TripleHeadToGo Digital DP on Windows 11

- Matrox TripleHeadToGo Digital SE con Mac mini M4 Both Mac and Windows. (multiple video outputs full resolution each projector)

- DataPath Hx4 both Mac and windows

- SwitchResX both Mac and windows

I hope this info help others. And of course if anyone can figure out to solve the initial issue is welcome

From what you described, I think you're seeing a double trigger from it sending the "0" (off state) when the momentary button is released. The settings you want for a button I think are "Momentary" and "Don't Sent Off".

 Are you using 'Cue Sheets' or are you referring to 'scenes' as cues?

If you are talking about Scenes, you can add a 'Jump' actor with a relative setting of -1, connected to a keyboard watcher. This will move you back 1 scene.
Or, open the 'Edit Go Triggers' dialog from the 'Scenes' menu, and assign a Go Trigger (keyboard, MIDI, or HID) to the 'Previous Scene' direction. This will apply to the entire show, while the Jump actor needs to be added to each scene.

If you are using the 'Cue Sheets' feature, you are able to send keyboard commands to the scene as define in the Cue Sheet Editor. These allow for what you can think of a sub-cues within a Scene. Now if a Cue is triggered, it could do all sorts of things, including starting timed operation, looped operations or interactive controls. It isn't practical to be able to step backward in the cue sheet since there is no clear definition as to what 'rewinding' would be. You can however, build some form of step back into your patch, that resets things to certain configurations, however this is very much a custom approach.

I took a look to see if any Python modules could possibly provide integration in Isadora, and although some exist, they require Opengl windowing or have other requirements that make them difficult to integrate into Isadora at this time. This is an interesting format though, so I will keep my eyes open for options.

 I would put it in a user actor and use that in each scene.

OR you could broadcast to an activated scene that had a listener and projector in it. 

The user actor is more flexible.

Isadora is very fast at projection mapping, although it takes time. It is one of the best.

I am not sure what you mean by 4x3 exactly. 4:3 is an aspect ratio? Is there some confusion here? Or do you mean something else?

Also Stage Output is where you set up your outputs - not to do the mapping itself.

You can also see if changing the 'r/w mode' input on the Data Array to a different setting solves this for you.
